We remember the 40 that died, the many more that were injured and the bravery of those that came to their aid.
100 years ago today a fire at the Bradford Low Moor Munitions Factory caused a chain reaction in the highly unstable Picric Acid store. A massive explosion followed and a bigger tragedy was averted by the quick actions of the Bradford Fire Brigade. We remember the 40 that died, the many more that were injured and the bravery of those that came to their aid.
