New information is constantly coming to light. We can announce that Privates George Eddison Fox, Ambrose Robbins, Willie Wood and Marine Gunner Arthur Edward Murgatroyd have been identified from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission archives, and their details have been added to our memorial. Ambrose Robbins and Willie Wood are both commemorated in Fulneck Church and also attended Pudsey St.Lawrence Church. George Eddison Fox served with the Tank Corps and is commemorated at Cambrai Memorial, Louverval. He was born on 27 August 1897 Son of George and Mary Elizabeth, baptised Olivet Chapel, Stanningley 20 October 1897. A more detailed account about Gunner Arthur Edward Murgatroyd is now available.
