Philip S Pugh RAFVR aged 23, Sgt. Roy Smith RAFVR aged 28. There will be a a short service of remembrance at the graveside of Flt. Sgt. Ronald CA Muir, at Pudsey Cemetery LS28 7LW, Thursday 28th 7:30pm all welcome. The service will be to remember the life and service of Ronald and his comrades.

Thursday 28th July sees the 75th Anniversary of the fatal crash of AN534 WP-E “Easy”, MK1 Fortress of 90 Squadron RAF Polebrook, 1941. The aircraft crashed vertically at high speed into a field just outside the village of Stoke Albany, Northamptonshire, killing all seven men on board: Flt. Sgt. Reginald G Bradley RAFVR aged 28, Flt. Sgt. Hubert CG Brook RAFVR aged 25, Sgt. Robert Henderson RAFVR aged 23, 1st Lt. Laird W Hendricks USAAC aged 25 (Laird was only in the UK for 3 days before his death), Flt. Sgt.
